No one in 1st grade got pinched today!
The 3rd grade class took a field trip to see Flat Stanley last week.
The 3rd grade students did President bottle bios. They all looked great!
Kindergarten has been learning about animals. Dekon brought in his bearded dragon to share with the class.
The 8th grade did the tablecloth experiment exploring Newton's first law and inertia!

Another snowy day in Kentucky! Thank goodness for the sunshine and quick warm-up. A special thanks to some of our parents and the Knights of Columbus. They spent several hours this weekend installing exhaust fans, fixing a sump pump, and vacuuming out heating and air conditioning units. Their help keeps our tuition down and makes St. John a better place for students. If you have any concerns about our buildings, please let me know and we will do our best to address these problems. Again than you for all of your help and support in making St. John such a special place.Take care and God bless,

Chick-fil-A UpdateThanks to everyone who supported St. John School during "Spirit Week" at Chick-fil-A. Total sales for the week were $1,425.85. Of that amount, St. John School received 15% of the total sales -a check for $213.87 - just for eating there! This time, our classroom winner was the First Grade with teacher Ms. Lucy King. They will receive free ice cream at Chick-fil-A. Way to go Mrs. King and your first grade class!Athletic News
Please return your child's basketball, cheering-leading and dance team uniforms washed and in a labeled ziplock bag to the office as soon as possible so they can be returned to storage.
Golf season will begin April 7th. Program details are listed within the athletic page on the sports program page under "golf team"if you are interested in helping walk teams around the courses please contact the athletic director at [email protected].Field Day
We are starting to plan field day for this school year and would love some new ideas. We will also need volunteers. Field Day is scheduled for May 16th with the rain make up day being May 23rd. Knights of Columbus Lenten Fish fry every Friday, from 5 - 7pm during Lent. Please join us in the undercroft for:
Batter Dipped Fried Fish, Popcorn Shrimp and Grilled Salmon

Click here for your weekly bingo update! We are also looking for help with the prep team. If you are able to help build bingo packs and count pull tabs on Wednesdays from 10am -12pm, please contact the school office. This is a vital process to having successful bingo nights.
