Principal's Corner
Greetings,
This week marks the holiest week in the Catholic Church. I would like to thank Mrs. Cunningham and the fourth grade students for helping us during Lent by leading the Stations of the Cross every Friday. Also, I would like to thank Father Linh for giving all our students a chance to go to confession last week. The sixth and eights grades will perform the Passion Play on Friday. Mrs. Pendleton and Mrs. Mardell have been working hard with the students on this presentation.
Currently we are in fourth place in the Recycle Rally. The contest ends on April 29th. With a strong finish we could move into third place. Thank you to all the volunteers who have made this program successful. It was amazing to see the dedicated recycling counters braving the weather to make sure our program continued. What a great example of being good stewards of God's environment these parents are to the students of St. John School!
Have a prayerful Holy Week and a Happy Easter,
Dan Mardell
