Notes From the Office: Monday, April 29th, 2019Weekly Updates April 2019 Greetings,
I hope everyone enjoyed the weekend. We will be MAP testing the next two weeks. Please make sure your children are well rested and ready to go. MAP testing is one good indicator that we use to see how much students have grown academically this school year.
There are many great things going on at St.John School. First, I would like to thank everyone who helped out with our booth at the Kite Festival. This was excellent community service and a great way to get the word out about St. John School. Also, I would like to thank the Cub Scouts and Ginny Squires for the efforts in taking care of some of the maintenance needs on our campus. Lastly, I would like to thank Jim McCarty, Emily Balbaugh, and Kim Jansen for all their hard work in improving the area behind the Mary House and on the side of the St. Francis trailer. They cleaned up the area and rocked everything. This area can now be used as an outdoor classroom space. It is efforts like these that make St. John School so special!

A huge THANK YOU to all of the volunteers who came out to help at the Kite Festival this past weekend!!!! Despite having less-than-perfect weather, we made the most of it, and judging by the number of painted faces and wind socks I saw traveling around the festival, I think that the St. John School booth easily won as the most-visited booth! Thanks so much for everyone's time, hard work, and artistic talents! We did the school proud!!!

Art Show
It’s is that time of year again! The SJS Annual art show will be here soon! We are looking for parent volunteers to help in the art room with matting, framing, and other preparations for the art show. Please contact Mr. Bridges at [email protected] to coordinate with him to help out!
