St John Families:

 

First, let me thank you again for participating in the iGiveCatholic campaign last Tuesday. In case you missed it, we raised just over $9000 towards the playground expansion at our Cardome Campus. What a great showing that we had. Also, please remember that the book donations for our Toys for Tots program with the Georgetown Fire Department are due in by December 9th (that is this Thursday). Please help this also be a great success.

 

Second, you will be receiving the vaccine survey today by email and in your student’s office folder (as was mentioned in the most recent COVID update). Please take a few minutes to complete the survey and return to the school office via your student’s office folder. A reminder that your name is not needed on the survey.

 

Lastly, a reminder that dismissal for the last day of the quarter (December 17th) will be at

11:15 AM. There is NO AFTERSCHOOL that day. Also, please be aware that BREAKFAST will be served that morning, but there will be NO LUNCH OFFERED to the students.

 

The gates will open at 11:00 AM and dismissal will be like any other school day with the exception that Preschool-only families (those with no older siblings) will get separate dismissal information from Mrs. Wayman with an earlier dismissal time. Preschoolers with older siblings at St. John will follow the normal dismissal process we follow every day (just at the earlier time).

Picture Retake Day

School picture retake day is scheduled for Thursday, December 16th.  Students must wear their school uniform for pictures on this day.  Please email the office at [email protected] to notify us if your child needs to have their picture taken.  Students will only be pulled for pictures if the office is notified.

You can now oder your PE shirts and sweatshirts directly from our uniform supplier.  They will be delivered right to your door.  No more long waits!

Important Lunch Information for the 2021-2022 School year

School breakfast and lunch will be free for all students for the 2021-22 school year. This takes the burden off of families while they continue to recover from the pandemic.  We still need our families to apply for free/reduced lunches if applicable, click here.  These applications affect receipt of the P-EBT cards the government has been sending out as well as grant money the school receives from the state.
