Weekly Updates
February 2020
Greetings,
I would like to thank everyone who attended the Heart to Heart to Heart Dinner Dance this weekend. It was great to celebrate Ms. King’s thirty years at St. John School. She is truly a remarkable person. She is highly educated with two Masters, one in Elementary Education and the other in Administration and Leadership. She was also invited into the doctorate program to receive her PhD. Unfortunately, her dream of doing this was cut short when she was diagnosed with cancer. She has continued teaching while battling cancer three more times. Her strong faith and trust in God help her through the good times and tough times. We are very fortunate to have such a talented person on our staff!
I would like to congratulate Tess Laco and Jack Blankenship for their performance at the last robotics competition. Their efforts landed them an invitation to the state robotic competition. The elementary and middle school will both be competing in other events this month.
Lastly, I would like to thank everyone who worked hard to make the Heart to Heart a wonderful event. Their hard work and efforts made this a fun event! Also, thank you to all our coaches for their help with robotics, basketball, and cheerleading. Your dedication to our school is what makes St. John School a great place!!!!
God bless and take care,
Dan Mardell
