We had a solid open house on Sunday, although fewer families came by than our first open house. Thanks again to our tour volunteers, our teachers, and our current families for helping to bring people in our doors and make them feel welcome while they are here! We always get compliments for how friendly and welcoming we are at our open houses.
Enrollment is well under way and we are now taking registrations for siblings of current students and parish families looking to join our school. Please take some time this week, if you have not already, to re-enroll on Sycamore and get your registration fee in ASAP.
Next week, Bishop John Stowe, OFM Conv., will be the celebrant for our school Mass. The 4th grade students will be leading our portions of the Mass along with the help of a few middle school students.
I am very much looking forward to our Cocktails and Kisses Gala this Saturday. The SIA group and especially Mrs. Tiffany Cox have put in a ton of effort to get this event back up and running after the Covid years. Thanks so much to them and to all the families in the school and parish and local businesses that have donated to make the event a success. It should be a great time!
Lastly, no school on Monday in observance of Presidents Day.
Peace,
Mr. Mayer

Snacks and Drinks
Just a reminder that all students should bring a snack and drink from home everyday. All classes have a snack time for students.
We are ready to race again! Last year’s race was absolutely amazing!! Over 900 family, friends, and community members showed their love and support for our boys; and for that, we are forever grateful. Incredibly, we raised over $45,000 to go towards a scholarship fund that we will be announcing more about soon.
Please join us on Sunday, April 30th at 2pm for the 2nd Annual Dom & Dave Memorial 5k at the Coldstream Park in NW Lexington. We have added a Fun Run this year for kids 10 and under and prize opportunities for the fastest teams. We look forward to seeing everyone again for a fantastic day of running and camaraderie-the perfect way to honor the lives Dom & Dave.
100% of the race proceeds will go to The Dominic Bilotta Memorial Foundation, Inc. which will be used to provide scholarship opportunities in the names of both Dominic and David.
When you sign up please join the "St. John School team". There is a prize for the largest team!
