St. John Catholic School Notes From the Office: Monday, February 25th, 2019         Weekly Updates         February 2019         Greetings, The past weekend was very busy for both our parish and school. The Knights of Columbus hosted a Chili Cook Off and Pancake Breakfast. Both these events provided plenty of good food and fellowship! Our basketball season is winding down. The 7th/8th grade boys won and advanced to the semifinals next week. The 5th/6th grade boys and 7th/ 8th girls ended their season with tough losses in the tournament.  The teams had great seasons and we are very proud of them. I can’t forget to mention our cheerleaders. They provided plenty of spirit for players and fans. I would like to thank all the coaches for the hard work and time they put in to help our students. Finally, last week we celebrated the basketball season with our annual “Battle for the Rock!” The basketball players were divided into two very evenly matched teams and had a chance to show off their skills to the whole school. The game ended with the eighth grade parents squaring off against their children.
