Notes From the Office: Monday, July 22nd, 2019Weekly Updates July 2019 Greetings, The activity is picking up around the St. John campus. The buildings and grounds are being cleaned and repaired, supplies ordered, and the educational plans are being formalized. I am very excited about the new school year!
I would like to thank the Knights of Columbus for their generous donations toward our Adopt-A-Student program and Washington D.C. trip. They have been truly supportive of our school in many ways.
Lastly, don’t forget our parish Fall Festival. This should be a fun event for our parish, school, and community. We are asking each family attending St. John School/Parish to sell five raffle tickets at $20 each. If you haven’t picked up your tickets, please stop by the office to get them. Please support this wonderful event.

Here's What's New!! Cross Country News and Information!
Mandatory Parent Meeting
There will be a 10 minute parent meeting at the beginning of the first CC practice, July 29th, at 6pm that I would like all parents to attend. We will be going over practice, meet schedule, signs ups, etc.
The first official practice will be Monday, July 29th, at Brooking Park at our normal meeting spot by the big playground. Coach Mayer and I are looking forward to seeing back all of our returning runners and we are hoping to see a lot of new faces as well. Give it some thought. Cross country is a super team sport with a chance to always improve individually. As Coach Mayer always says. . . . if you like running, being outside, and having fun, this is the sport for you! Returning runners.. . . now is the time to start running and building up some miles on those legs. If you have any questions about anything, please do not hesitate to call or write. Computer Lab Summer Hours
The computer lab will be open for students to take AR tests the following hours. Please mark your calendars now and note the evening hours available for parents who work. The lab will also be open on Orientation.
Tuesdays: 10-11:30 am - July 30
Thursdays: 5:30-7 pm - August 1

For the upcoming school year all after school billing will be automatically deducted from your FACTS account unless you have made prior arrangements. Please contact the school office at [email protected] with any questions you may have.
If you drink coke you can help our school raise money! All you need to do is enter the codes, found under the lid or on the box, at www.coke.com. The easiest way to locate our school is to search ST JOHN, 40324 in the search box. You can also turn your lids and box codes into the school office.
