Greetings,

Welcome to March! The next month has very few interruptions and it is a great time for students to focus on their studies. During the Lenten season, please encourage your child to pray, fast, and give alms (rice bowls). Lastly, please come and watch the Preschool - 2 musical program on March 10^th. The program will start at 7 pm in the church.

Thank you for making this such a great place and don’t forget to keep St. John School in your prayers.

	Here's What's New!!


	Preschool, Kindergarten, First and Second Grades Spring Music Program Nature Is.... Tuesday, March 10 at 7:00 p.m. Come and join our early elementary students as we explore nature through sound, instruments and movement. We will be singing songs and speaking poetry. Our repertoire will include Rain, Rain Go Away; If All of the Raindrops; Mud; A Garden. Students will meet at 6:30 p.m. in the Undercroft. Students will wear a shirt that is plain or with a picture of nature, jeans or school pants, and tennis shoes or rain boots.


	School House 5k Lace up your running shoes and support SJS. We are once again participating in the School House Champions 5k with other schools in Scott County. We will receive a portion of the race proceeds based our participation. The more registered runners/walkers we have, the more money we will receive. Let’s show that, even though we are little, we are mighty! Click here to download the registration form.


	Tuition Assistant for the 2020-2021 school year! If you are in need of financial aid for the upcoming school year, please complete the financial aid application on the FACTS website. You will then need to schedule a meeting with Mr. Mardell. All applications for financial aid need to be completed by March 13th.

The book fair will be open during the Fish Fry on Friday, March 6th.


	Box Tops For Education Box Tops is changing to fit today's families. The new and improved Box Tops mobile app uses state-of-the-art technology to scan your store receipt, find participating products and instantly add Box Tops to your school's earnings online. Eventually the Box Tops program will become digital-only. Participating brands are starting to change their packaging from a traditional Box Tops clip to the new Box Top label. If you see this label, use the new Box Tops app to scan your receipt. Box Tops are still worth 10¢ each for your school. The app will find participating products purchased at any store and instantly add cash to your school's earnings online.

	After School Email Address If you need to contact Janene Barry about after school please email [email protected] For the upcoming school year all after school billing will be automatically deducted from your FACTS account unless you have made prior arrangements. Please contact the school office at [email protected] with any questions you may have.


	If you drink coke you can help our school raise money! All you need to do is enter the codes, found under the lid or on the box, at www.coke.com. The easiest way to locate our school is to search ST JOHN, 40324 in the search box. You can also turn your lids and box codes into the school office. If you would like to help enter codes, please email the office at [email protected].


	Submissions for Notes From the Office If you would like a St. John School or parish event included in the Notes From the Office, or you have pictures you would like to appear in the Notes, please send your submissions to [email protected] no later than Mondays at 9am. Thank you!
