St. John School Newsletter
May 9th, 2022
St. John Families:
First, I want to thank you all for the generosity last week. The staff was so appreciative of all the support and the wonderful gifts. It is so nice to be appreciated! Thank you again!
Second, please consider putting in some hours to help this week in getting ready for the yard sale down at the Black Barn. Also, remember to share the event with as many friends and neighbors as you can.
Quite exciting times this week. Thursday, May 12th, please don't forget about the Art Show (from afterschool until the evening to make sure you have a time that you can come by to check out what the students were able to do this year). At the end of this week we will see our 8th graders travel out to Bowling Green and Mammoth Cave while our 4th and 5th graders will visit Frankfort. We also have a Baptism at tomorrow’s Word and Communion Service and a couple Baptisms this weekend! And of course, this is our big weekend for First Communion for our 2nd Graders! Again, check below for all the dates of upcoming events.
Things are accelerating quickly. Pray for a safe and successful end to the school year.
Peace,
Mr. Mayer

Important Lunch Information for the 2021-2022 School year
School breakfast and lunch will be free for all students for the 2021-22 school year. This takes the burden off of families while they continue to recover from the pandemic. We still need our families to apply for free/reduced lunches if applicable, click here. These applications affect receipt of the P-EBT cards the government has been sending out as well as grant money the school receives from the state.
To view the breakfast and lunch nutritional information, go to https://www.myschoolmenus.com/instance/1092/district/1106
