Thanks for filling out your RSVP Attendance Form for the half day during Thanksgiving week. There are still a few more forms we are tracking down, but it looks to be a packed house for our Thanksgiving Mass and Reception (hosted by SIA). We will send out additional details next Monday, but you can expect to park in the Main Lot for Cardome or in the 30 or so spots in Lot B and walk up to the main Cardome building with the Chapel. A reminder that we will have sign out sheets for you as you exit with your children from the reception.
We have a new food service manager starting this week. Mrs. Brown, mother to a couple of our students, has accepted the position as manager. The Diocese is still looking for a Food Service Assistant to help her prepare and serve meals at St. John School.
This Friday, the middle school will present their Science Fair projects. We are still looking for a few more judges if you have free time to volunteer. There is a prepared score sheet to use and we start in the morning and finish by lunch. Please email the office if you would like to be a judge this year or need more details about judging.
Lastly, you will begin receiving notices for the iGiveCatholic campaign this week. Our funding target this year is to support our intervention services program. Be on the lookout for the links and opportunity to give in the coming week ahead! Giving Tuesday is November 28th!
Peace,
Mr. Mayer
Lunch for Tuesday, November 14th
The cafeteria will be serving hot ham and cheese sliders for "Try it Tuesday."
Thank you to the veterans who joined us for lunch on Friday!
Home for the Holidays Parade "Christmas In Candyland" Downtown Georgetown | Saturday, Dec. 2 at 6pm I’d like to gauge the interest and get a rough headcount of kids who would want to participate, and ride on a “float” to represent the school. The plan is to just wear our spirit wear sweatshirts, SIA will get the kids some light up necklaces and they can ride on a trailer with a school banner. If you’d like to bring candy to throw that would be fine too. Thanks, SIA. Please email Caitlin Tudor if you would like to participate at [email protected].
2022-2023 Yearbooks
Did you forget to order your yearbook last year? That's no problem. We have about 15 extras that are for sale. They will be on a first come first serve basis. Please email the office at [email protected] if you would like to purchase one.
