St. John Families:

 

Welcome to Advent! As we prepare our hearts during this joyous season, know that our teachers and staff are working their hardest to get us to the end of the quarter while still making time for the students to enjoy this special time in our lives.

 

A few housekeeping issues as we move into December.

Please take notice of where to park when picking up a student early from school. DO NOT PULL INTO THE DROP OFF LOT IN FRONT OF THE MAIN SCHOOL BUILDING. Please be sure to park in the B1 Parking Lot except for preschool families which use the PS Parking Lot. You can find a map with all the parking locations at the back of the School Handbook or by clicking here.

 

A quick survey of Sycamore usage by household has demonstrated that many families are not taking advantage of what this site offers. Sycamore is the main vehicle for communication of student grades. It is kept up to date by the teaching staff and has functions that allow you to select notification of grade changes besides just being able to look up entered grades. By simply logging into the site, you can have immediate access to the grades for your student(s).

 

Please do not forget about making a donation to our iGiveCatholic campaign tomorrow.  We have high hopes for collecting enough funds to move our playground expansion forward. Thanks for all that you do to make St. John School a special place!

Picture Retake Day

School picture retake day is scheduled for Thursday, December 16th.  Students must wear their school uniform for pictures on this day.  Please email the office at [email protected] to notify us if your child needs to have their picture taken.  Students will only be pulled for pictures if the office is notified.

You can now oder your PE shirts and sweatshirts directly from our uniform supplier.  They will be delivered right to your door.  No more long waits!

Important Lunch Information for the 2021-2022 School year

School breakfast and lunch will be free for all students for the 2021-22 school year. This takes the burden off of families while they continue to recover from the pandemic.  We still need our families to apply for free/reduced lunches if applicable, click here.  These applications affect receipt of the P-EBT cards the government has been sending out as well as grant money the school receives from the state.
