Principal's Corner
Greetings,
I trust the students enjoyed their extended weekend and a break from homework. This is prime time to focus on school. It is very important the students come to school on time and have their work completed. It won't be long before the holidays are upon us with all the distractions. Your support will be appreciated in this effort.
A special thank you to Mrs. Hernandez, Mrs. Reinhart, Mrs. Lopez, and Mrs. Jansen for manning the office while Mrs. Noffsinger was out. Just like Mrs. Noffsinger, these ladies kept me out of trouble and made sure the school ran smoothly.
Also, a big thank you to the Knights of Columbus members for pulling bingo duty on Halloween and supporting our school. This allowed many of our parents to spend Halloween with their parents. They did a great job selling to a small crowd. With their salesmanship and great attitude they had a successful evening.
Remember to keep our families who have recently lost loved ones in your prayers!
God bless and take care,
Dan Mardell

I Have Called You by Name
Those who have experienced the loss of a child through miscarriage, stillbirth or abortion are invited to attend the 6th Annual Naming Ceremony Sunday November 9, 2014 at 3pm at
St Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. This Diocesan event is for Catholic or Non-Catholic parents and their family who would like to remember their child/sibling/grandchild in a special way. Often a child lost due to miscarriage, stillbirth, or abortion does not receive a funeral observance nor are the children given a name, other than in the hearts of his/her parents. This beautiful and healing commemorative liturgy will be led by Fr John Moriarty and will be followed by a reception in the parish hall. This event is sponsored by The Diocesan Bereavement Ministry and the Bereavement Ministry and Elizabeth Ministry at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. If you have any questions about the service please contact either Laura Napora at [email protected]or (859)-273-1412 or Deacon Bob or Connie Kotzbauer at [email protected] or 859-351-1498.
