Congratulations to St.John School alumnus Jasmine Morgan and Kristin Drummond for finishing first and second in the Diocesan Right to Life Creative Writing Contest. Also, congratulations to Jessica Armentano, seventh grade student at St. John School. She won second place in the media arts division. These students were recognized by Bishop John at the Right to Life Mass. St. John students and alumnus rock!!!!
Cross county wrapped up another fantastic year. I would like to thank Todd Reinhart, Brent Mayer, and Meghan Graham for a great job coaching the runners. Basketball practices begin shortly. All the extra programs such as sports, robotics, STREAM club, and many others would not be possible without all the wonderful volunteers at our school.
We have some exciting things coming up at St. John School. On Tuesday, November 26th, St. John School will be holding a STREAM conference in conjunction with our annual science fair. This will be held at Cardome and there are many great things scheduled. Also, the St. John Christmas musical will be held on Tuesday, December 10th, at St. John Church. Please read more about these and other items in the notes below.
With the holiday season approaching, please remember our main focus should be on helping our students grow academically and spiritually. Please help us out by getting your students here on time (in the classroom and ready to go by 7:50 am) and encouraging them to put forth their best effort in school. I appreciate all your help in making our school the best!
Great thought from Winston Churchill - taken from Sunday's bulletin: We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give.
God bless and take care,
