Can you believe that Friday is the last day of the first quarter? The students are working hard and doing a great job! On Friday, we will be having a pep rally to recognize all the athletes who participated in cross country and soccer. Then on Saturday, we will combine our movie night with our annual Barn Dance. This we be a great way to relax, enjoy each others company, and celebrate a great first quarter. Hope to see you there!!!!
I am pleased to announce that Mrs. Debbie McKinley has been hired as our new 7th grade homeroom / science teacher. Mrs. McKinley brings enthusiasm and 7 years teaching experience to our school. She is starting tomorrow, so please stop by and welcome her.

Concession Stand Help Needed We now provide a concession stand at the bingo hall. We are in need of volunteers to work every Friday and Saturday night from 5pm-10pm. This is very easy job with no walking required. Please email the school office at [email protected] if you would like to pick a night to work. Fall Pep Rally Please join us in the school parking lot this Friday, at 8:30am for our Fall Pep Rally. We will celebrate our cross country and soccer teams.
Barn Dance News The Halloween Barn Dance/Movie Night is this Saturday the 22nd at Bossy Barn starting at 5pm. Please come for a night of fun, food, costumes, dancing, and a movie. We will start with games and food at 5pm, at 6pm we will have the costume march and costume contest (best family costumes and best costume). A Halloween movie the kids vote on this Thursday will be shown at 6:45pm. Please pack your family a cooler with drinks, and bring blankets and chairs to watch the movie on. Dress warm, weather forecast for Saturday is 61 degree high. What would the Barn Dance be without all the tasty food?!?! Trivia Night Update How did Trivia Nite go? If you didn't attend you really missed out on a FUN time!! But don't despair, we are going to do it again, February 18th at Cardome! Thanks to Bluegrass Pediatrics and Internal Medicine who sponsored the Trivia Event and Meighan Gassett and Emily Miller Balbaugh who worked to coordinate it for the Parish. The event made $985 for the Bucks for Books campaign, which will purchase new textbooks for K-5 next year. Congratulations to the Trivia Winners - James Drummond, Suzanne Drummond, Dr. Reinhart, Maryellen Mullikin, Erica Boyle Bilotta, Craig Bilotta, Janice Bohac, and Ken Bohac.

After School Art Clubs Each month the art room offers after school art clubs and drawing class.
Mondays Art Club 4th grade through 8th grade. $25 includes snack. 3pm- 4pm. Club explores a variety of artists and art mediums.
Tuesdays Arts & Crafts Clubs. $25 includes snack. 3pm-4pm. A variety of arts and crafts and fun for students K-3rd grade.
Thursdays Drawing class. $50 includes snack. 3-4pm. For students 1st-8th grade. This class focuses on basic to complex drawing skills and drawing materials with a focus on the needs of each individual student.
Computer Lab Hours The computer lab will be open from 3 - 3:30 on Mondays for students who would like to take AR tests or practice typing.
Bingo VIP Positions We are in desperate need of callers, front desk and back desk workers. These positions are mostly seated. Training can be done on site. Please email the school office if you are interested in learning one of these bingo positions. Click here for a detailed job description.
