Greetings, St. John families:

Looks like we may have a soggy and chilly end to October.  Please remember that students may be out of uniform this Friday (see details below) and I have encouraged them to pay attention to the rules about this as I do not want to send anyone home or cancel future out of uniform days.  Thanks for your help on this!

Also, please take note that this is the last week until April that shorts are allowed to be worn.

I hope that you all are able to enjoy the day off with your children this Monday, November 1st, as the school is closed that day.  Do remember though that this is a religious feast day, All Saints Day.  The staff at SJS will be participating in a professional development (PD) day that morning, so they will not be available for emails and the office will be closed as well.

I have not yet seen the fundraising totals from the Festival, but like I mentioned last week, it looked to be a success and I will share with you once we get it all finalized.

Make a pot of chili this weekend and come by the Trunk or Treat this Saturday (see details below)!

Uniform Update

Just a reminder that October 29th is the last day students can wear shorts until April 1st.

Important Lunch Information for the 2021-2022 School year

School breakfast and lunch will be free for all students for the 2021-22 school year. This takes the burden off of families while they continue to recover from the pandemic.  We still need our families to apply for free/reduced lunches if applicable, click here.  These applications affect receipt of the P-EBT cards the government has been sending out as well as grant money the school receives from the state.
