Principal's Corner
Greetings,
As usual, St. John School has been bustling with activities. I had the opportunity to attend the cross country banquet. It was great to see all the students and parents having such a good time. I would like to thank Dr. Reinhart, Mr. Mayer, and all the parents that made this banquet and the cross country season a great success. Saturday night, the Knights of Columbus sponsored a barn dance to benefit Real Life Radio. There was great chili, good music, and wonderful company. Thanks to all the the Knights who worked on this event for our school and parish. On Sunday, the school held their annual Halloween barn dance. I saw lots of beautiful costumes and some awful scarey ones. I would like to thank Charity Ramsey for all her hard work getting this event organized. Also, a thank you goes out to Jackie Perry, Ben Horn, and the Catholic Heartwork Camp volunteers for supplying the chili and running the games. Lastly, thank you to Joanne Andres, Mrs. Mardell, and the eighth grade students for putting together the awesome haunted house.
I know it seems like there was a thank you in every other sentence above. However, without the effort and dedication of our school parents and parishioners, St. John Catholic School and SS. Francis & John Catholic Parish would not be such a fantastic place. So I would like to end this with a big heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone!
God bless and take care,
Dan Mardell

Thank you from Joanne Andres
Thank you to the 8th grade parents especially Amy Hargrave for their dedication and support to help make this year's haunted house a huge success. The kids got off to a rocky start, but ended up turning away people so they could close it down. They worked hard and showed great team work and I enjoyed helping them with this assignment.
