Short message this week. PENNY WARS ARE HERE!!! Empty out the change bucket, the couch, the cupholder in the car, or whatever spot is cluttered with change. See the details below, but we are off to a great start to the week.
PLEASE REMEMBER TO GET THOSE RAFFLE TICKETS SOLD to support us with the Fall Fest fundraising. Thanks for helping us with the biggest fundraising event for the school and parish. If you want to get involved in other ways with the festival, don’t forget that it starts with the Trunk-or-Treat!
Lastly, we will be starting signups for the parochial basketball leagues very soon. If you are looking to get involved with coaching a boys or girls team, please reach out to the office and we will have someone call you to talk about what is required.
Peace,
Mr. Mayer
Thank you for our Choir Students
Dear Singers, Students, and Families of St. John's,
First, thank you so much for being a part of the Catholic education at St. John's and for choosing to send your children to a Catholic School. It is such an honor and a privilege to share the joy of music with your children every week.
I am so proud of our students, especially those who have chosen to participate in choir when we have the School Mass on Tuesdays. We had a record number of students sing last week at 33 (thirty-three), and I hope we continue to have such great engagement and enthusiasm for music!
Music is such a vital part of our Catholic culture and our faith. The Holy St. Augustine once said that music was so important that "to sing is to pray twice." Please keep encouraging your students to sing and participate.
Thank you parents, again, and thank you students for helping to make St. John's great by lifting your voices in song!
We Proceed on!!
Mr. Brusoe
