Greetings,
I hope everyone enjoyed the beautiful weather this weekend as much as I did. I am very impressed with our students and staff as we settle into the school year. Everyone is taking hand sanitizing, disinfecting, and wearing masks very seriously. This is reflected in our excellent attendance record. As we enter the flu season, it is very important that we stay vigilant with our health practices. Rest, washing hands, and wearing a mask are the most important ways to stay healthy. The students have been working very hard and will be getting a well deserved fall break starting September 30th!
Our discipline policy and uniform policy are very important to the overall climate and culture of our school. With the focus on COVID-19 and getting students back to school, we have been a little more lax than normal on the uniform policy. Please review these policies in our handbook which can be found on the St. John website. Thank you for all your support in this matter.
Please continue to help us with our Fall raffle. Thank you to everyone who has supported this important fundraiser.
God bless and take care,
Dan Mardell
Principal
Drop off Temperature checks!!!
Please turn off or lower your heat in the car as you approach the temperature check station. The heaters are causing high temperature recordings. In order to not slow the drop off line down, you may be asked to park and wait for us to retake your childs temperature if your child tests high. Please help make this a smooth process in the morning.

Dress Code Reminders!
Please click here to review the uniform policy. Remember that students are not allowed to wear sweatshirts or jackets in class unless that are St. John School logoed.
2019-20 Yearbooks are here!! If you forgot to order your yearbook last year, we have about 20 in the office that are available. They are $25 each. We are currently looking for someone to create the 2020-2021 yearbook. If we do not get a volunteer, we will not have a yearbook for this year.
Raffle Tickets Thank you to everyone who has sold their raffle tickets. If you need more tickets to sale, please email the school office at [email protected] and I will be happy to send them home with your child. Don't forget that we will reward the class that sells the most tickets per family** with a Chick-fil-A lunch, free dress down day and movie day. The second place classroom will receive a free dress down day and movie day and the third place classroom will receive a free movie day. **For the purposes of the contest, if there are three students in a family and the family sells 8 tickets, each student’s class will receive credit for 8 tickets. Tickets per family = # tickets sold / # students in a class.**
