Weekly Updates
September 2017
Greetings,
It was a warm, but gorgeous weekend. The students and parents are very busy with weekend activities. I hope everyone takes some time to rest and thank God for all our blessings. School is in full swing and the students seem very engaged in their studies. The teachers are in the process of completing the classroom spelling bee, which will culminate with the schoolwide bee.
The before and after school traffic flow has been fairly smooth, but there are a few concerns. In the afternoon, please do not turn left onto Main from Military Street. This causes a traffic jam when we are letting the cars out of the lot. Secondly, if you are going to walk your child into the primary building (K-2) please park in a parking spot. When you stop in front of the building and walk your child in you create a traffic jam and sometimes unsafe conditions. Thank you for your help with these matters.
If you have any concerns please let me know. This is the only way we can make St. John School a better place.
God bless and take care,
Dan Mardell
