As I reflect on Catholic Schools Week, I want to thank you for all your support. Your commitment to our school is what makes St. John an awesome place. I truly appreciate the many volunteer hours that make many of the activities of our school possible. The Catholic School Week slogan of "Community of Faith, Service and Knowledge" definitely applies to our students and their parents. Please keep our school in your prayers.

School Board meeting rescheduled
Due to the weather, the school board meeting has been rescheduled to January 29th at 6pm.

Knights of Columbus Chili Cookoff
The winner of the 6th annual Chili cookoff was Sherry Kelley! SHERRY IS THE RECEPIENT OF A $25.00 GIFT CARD FROM GALVINS AS WELL AS A FRAMED CERTIFICATE. THERE WERE
13 COMPETITORS FOR THE HONOR OF "BEST CHILI".
2014 Winter Gala and Silent Auction
Did you know there are only 3 weeks left until the Winter Gala?
We would like to announce three wonderful trips we have to auction at this year gala. The first trip is a 5 day trip with airfare for 2 to Cancun, we also have a wonderful 5 day trip to Napa Valley with airfare for 2 and a 7 day trip to Orlando. Please come and join us for an evening of drinks, dining, dancing and giving to the Ss. Francis and John community. Profits from the event will be split between the church and school. Tickets can be purchased through the school office. Tickets are $75/person. AGAIN THIS YEAR!! There will be art projects or pottery representing every class at St. Johns! Chick-fil-A Birthday Party
Stop by Chick-fil-A on Thursday 1/30 from 5:30-7:30 to celebrate the original chicken sandwiches 50th birthday! The first 50 customers will receive a free sandwich. There will also be a 1960's costume contest and lots of games and prizes.
Blood Drive
St John's school is once again supporting the K of C blood drive on Sunday, February 2nd at St John's. The class with the most donors will receive a $50 gift card for ITunes from the blood center.
