St. John School and Parish are collecting cases of water to donate for this event. Our goal is to collect 100 cases of water. You can drop donations off in the school/parish office or contact Maria Pearl for pick up.

Principal's CornerGreetings,We are ready to go - are you? With the help of many parents, parishioners, and the Knights of Columbus our school grounds are cleaned up and ready for students. The teachers have been getting their rooms and lessons ready. All we are waiting for is the students. I am excited about all the possibilities of this new school year.God bless and take care,

Here's What's New:Updated Lunch MenuClick here for an updated lunch menu. It has changed from the one you received at orientation.Handbook RemindersPlease make sure you have reviewed your handbook for school policies. Make sure students are in proper uniform attire. Make sure hair is neat, clean and worn out of the eyes. For boys, hair must be above eyebrows and ears. For girls, no unnatural hair colors are permitted.Soccer Deadline this Friday 8/14If your child would like to play soccer for St. John this fall please email Chris Ramsey at [email protected].Interested in Tennis at St. John SchoolIs your child interested in playing tennis? If so please, email Jason Noffsinger at [email protected]. We are trying to see how many students would like to participate if we decided to offer tennis.Attention!!!! 2014-2015 YearbooksWe have 20 yearbooks left, so if you did not buy yours at orientation, come by the office to pick one up! They are only $25 and are filled with sports teams, classroom fun, St. John traditions, and priceless memories!! Hurry before they are all gone!Kroger Community RewardsAugust is the annual re-enrollment month for the Kroger Community Rewards program. In order for current enrolled members to support our parish and school, you MUST re-enroll (or to enroll for the first time) in Community Rewards sometime in August ( August 1-31, 2015). All you need to do to enroll/re-enroll is go to www.Kroger.com/communityrewards. Once you have created an account, just follow steps to enroll/re-enroll in the rewards program using our parish's NPO number: 10168. Remember - your purchases will not count for our parish and school until you enroll or re-enroll.FACTS TuitionAll families will need to click the link below to create their tuition account for the 2015-2016 school year. Tuition payments begin in July. Your enrollment is not complete until you have signed up. You will also need to use the link below to apply for financial aid. Please let the office know if you have any additional questions.Knights of Columbus Blood DriveIt's time once again for the Fall Blood Drive at St JohnChurch..There is a never ending need for blood donations throughout Kentucky. The Georgetown / Scott County area is no different.Each donation benefits three people. What a wonderful investment.The Kentucky Blood Center Bloodmobile will be at St John ChurchSunday, August 30 from 8:00 to 12:30.You can register online at: http://www.kybloodcenter.org/ or you can sign up after Mass on Sunday, August 23.You can also call Bob Jackson: 502-370-4050.Kroger Community Rewards Program (NEW)Earn money for St. John School simply by shopping at Kroger and scanning your Kroger Plus Card. ** This program will replace the former Kroger Gift card fundraising program.** Here is how it works:1. If you don't already have a Kroger Plus card, simply sign up at the Customer Service desk at Kroger.2. Log in to : KrogerCommunityRewards.com
3. Create an account and follow steps to enroll in the rewards program using our school's NPO number : 10168

Used UniformsDon't forget to stop by the office to purchase some gently used uniforms. You may also drop off all your old uniforms that don't fit anymore.BingoThere was no update available. VIP people are in high demand. If you would like to work bingo but do not want to walk all night, please consider learning one of the desk positions.
