Thank you so much for your generous efforts last week to support the Flood Victims in Eastern KY. Our picture day donations raised $575 to support Catholic Charities outreach to our friends in Eastern Kentucky. For those that missed picture day or want a retake, the make-up day will be October 28.
MAP testing begins this morning and will run through Thursday of this week. That testing window gives us this Friday and next week to schedule any students that are absent during this week’s testing.
As a reminder next Monday, September 5, is the Labor Day Holiday and the school will be CLOSED that day. For those of us seasoned enough, I remember when the Tuesday after Labor Day marked the start of school! We will have had three full weeks of school completed by then!
Lastly, great job on your response to selling raffle tickets so far. We are off to a great start! Please reach out to the office or see Mrs. Tiffany Cox to get more tickets. Remember that all the dollars raised from the raffle directly support the operations of St. John School!
Peace,
Mr. Mayer
