Weekly Updates
February 2020
Greetings,
Last Friday, we held our annual spring pep rally at the Georgetown College gym. The rally featured an introduction of the basketball players and the cheerleaders. It was a fun time to get together with the whole school to celebrate the 2019 - 2020 basketball season. Both of our teams ended their season on Saturday with losses in the league tournament. I would like to thank the coaches for all their dedication and hard work. Our volunteers are the heart of our athletic program – Thank you!
This will be a busy week with Mardi Gras festivities on Tuesday at Cardome, Panera fundraiser on Tuesday, Ash Wednesday, and the “famous” Knights of Columbus Fish Fry on Friday. Remember, our students will be leading the Stations of the Cross every Friday during Lent. The Stations of the Cross will start at 8:15.
Thank you for everything and have a great week!
God bless and take care,
Dan Mardell
