Happily, Mrs. Noffsinger is back! I am sure that you will see things run more smoothly again! I want to thank all of the office volunteers and parking lot help that filled in for those big shoes. I truly appreciate all the help that you were able to give.
The boys basketball teams finished out their seasons this weekend in the tournament. While our 5th/6th grade team picked up a coveted win over Christ the King, both of our boys teams saw their season end against the boys from Seaton School. Really impressed with their efforts and how improved they looked by the end of the season. And we all need to say a big thank you and congrats to the cheerleading squads. By far, we had the most excited crowds (and often the loudest, too)!
I owe an apology to the afterschool families for last Friday’s traffic hassles. Last year was not near as chaotic as it sounds like last Friday was. I am very sorry about that. I will be meeting with members of the Knights this week to make sure that this Friday goes much smoother. I will send out revised afterschool pickup instructions if necessary.
Coming out this week will be some exciting news for those of you that are fans (or would love to be fans) of the “Greatest Place on Earth.” As a new, fun fundraiser, the school is going to host a Disney World Vacation Raffle. See the details down below, and be ready to buy a chance to meet Mickey and all his friends!
A reminder that the school will be leading Stations of the Cross every Friday morning at 8:15 am. While intended for the students (in how they are led), family members are welcome to attend. Most times, they should last only about 30 minutes.

We are ready to race again! Last year’s race was absolutely amazing!! Over 900 family, friends, and community members showed their love and support for our boys; and for that, we are forever grateful. Incredibly, we raised over $45,000 to go towards a scholarship fund that we will be announcing more about soon.
Please join us on Sunday, April 30th at 2pm for the 2nd Annual Dom & Dave Memorial 5k at the Coldstream Park in NW Lexington. We have added a Fun Run this year for kids 10 and under and prize opportunities for the fastest teams. We look forward to seeing everyone again for a fantastic day of running and camaraderie-the perfect way to honor the lives Dom & Dave.
100% of the race proceeds will go to The Dominic Bilotta Memorial Foundation, Inc. which will be used to provide scholarship opportunities in the names of both Dominic and David.
When you sign up please join the "St. John School team". There is a prize for the largest team!
