The school year is flying by very quickly. It is hard to believe that Friday marks the mid-term of the third quarter. Students have been working very hard on the MAP test and we should finish by the end of the week. Also, I had the opportunity to go to the Knights of Columbus free throw contest on Sunday. I would like to thank the Knights for sponsoring this event. All our students and their families who attended thoroughly enjoyed the competition, fellowship, and pizza. Have a great week and thank you for all your help with St. John School!
God bless and take care,
Dan Mardell
Here's What's New!!

Congratulations to the winners of the Knights of Columbus Free Throw Shooting Competition!
Yes, that’s right! YOU are our best form of advertising! With upcoming Open Houses scheduled for January 29, March 5 and April 19, we need your help more than ever to help spread the word about St. John School. You are excellent ambassadors for our school and below are a few ways you can help:
Pick up an Open House flyer from the office and post in town or your place of business
If you’re a social media user, “share” our Open House event and any other relevant posts
Pick up the SJS car magnet from the office – mobile advertising at its best!
Share prospective student leads with the office – maybe your friend or neighbor is exploring new school options
Pick up a yard sign – we’ll be bringing those out of the basement this week so be on the lookout
*Volunteer to help give tours at the Open House on Jan 29 from 12 to 2 pm
*Donate refreshments for the Jan. 29 Open House - we need cookies and/or bite-size desserts, fruit , small bottled waters, juice boxes, small plates, napkins and forks.
*Contact Andrea Flanders at [email protected] or text 859-396-3364 to volunteer or donate
Thank you for all you do!
