St. John School and Parish are collecting cases of water to donate for this event. Our goal is to collect 100 cases of water. You can drop donations off in the school/parish office or contact Maria Pearl for pick up.

Principal's CornerGreetings,
Our school and parish grounds are very busy this week with Totus Tuus. It is great to see this place filled with the smiling faces of children again. I would like to remind you that Saturday, July 25th is a clean up day for the school and parish grounds. Click here for a list of tasks. If you have any task you would like to work on please contact Tom Johnson at [email protected] . Otherwise, please come and help us with general clean up chores. Let us get the the school grounds looking great for our students! Also, I would like to give special thanks to Maria Pearl for cleaning carpets in several classrooms.

Substitute Teachers Needed
Please contact the school office if you are interested or know someone who it interested in being a substitute teacher for our school.
Save the Date
On Saturday, July 25th we will have our annual school clean up day. Please watch for more information.stop by and help if you are available.
FACTS Tuition
All families will need to click the link below to create their tuition account for the 2015-2016 school year. Tuition payments begin in July. Your enrollment is not complete until you have signed up. You will also need to use the link below to apply for financial aid. Please let the office know if you have any additional questions.
Summer office hoursThe school office will be open from 9am - 12pm during the summer.Computer Lab Summer Hours
The computer lab will be open for students to take AR test or practice on Typing Web the following hours. Please mark your calendars now and note the evening hours available for parents who work. Tuesdays 10-11:30 am - July 21 and August 4th. Thursdays 5:30-7pm - July 23 and August 6th.
Cross CountryHello St. John Cross Country Runners!No rest for the weary - as the school year comes to an end, this is the time to turn all of that mental energy into physical energy as you get out those running shoes and start running in preparation for the upcoming, exciting cross country season!! This year's season will officially start on MONDAY, JULY 27th -- we will be meeting, as in year's past, at Brooking Park by the big playground. For those new to the sport, we practice from 6-7:00 PM on Monday, Tuesday,Wednesday, and Thursday at the park. All you need is a good attitude, a willingness to try hard, and a pair of running shoes!! We lost a huge chunk of middle schoolers last year, so we need fresh faces to help out the veterans - so if you are interested, come on out and join the fun! Any student at St John's in 1st - 8th grade is allowed to be on the team. If there are any questions, or if anyone would like suggestions on how much and what they should be running in this early summer, please do not hesitate to contact me at [email protected] OR call me at 606-669-1230. Used Uniforms
Don't forget to stop by the office to purchase some gently used uniforms. You may also drop off all your old uniforms that don't fit anymore.BingoThere was no update available. VIP people are in high demand. If you would like to work bingo but do not want to walk all night, please consider learning one of the desk positions.
