Notes From the Office: June 3, 2024

St. John Families:

Hopefully your summer has started off well.  Things are much quieter here around campus as the teachers worked last week to close out their classrooms and get themselves ready for the summer break.  Please be mindful that some of you have items that your students did not pick up.  The office summer hours are listed below.  Feel free to come by and pick up those items left behind.

Of importance is the news that the hiring search for the open positions has been going well.  The last 2 weeks of school and this past week have seen us screen or interview over a dozen candidates and we have made some great progress on finding some new talent and utilizing our current talent to the best potential.  Next week we will be able to announce the new first grade teacher.  At that time, we also hope to announce a couple other hires as well.

This week I will be periodically in and out of the office as I attend the principals meeting down in Lexington, finalize some budget items, and take a few hours here and there as vacation!
