Notes From the Office: March 1st, 2021

Greetings,

It is hard to believe that it is already March 1.  As I said last week, this is an important stretch of school with very few interruptions. The teachers are working very hard preparing the students so they are successful next year. We are busy making plans for our transition to Cardome next year. Next year should be a very exciting time with our new school at Cardome!!!  Thank you for all your support and please keep SJS students, teachers, and parents in your prayers.

We still have openings for the 2021-22 school year.  Please spread the word about our school to all your friends and family.  Our 4th grade and 6th grade classes for next year are currently full but we will start a waiting list in hopes that the Covid restrictions loosen.

Trump Administration Extends Free Meals for Kids for Entire School Year!!!

“The family, is so to speak, the domestic church.” (Lumen Gentium #11)

We are excited to announce that we have partnered with Good Shepherd to bring CHRIST IN MY HOME Ministry to SSFJ!  Each week, a short video (no more than 10 minutes!) will be sent via email and posted on our SSFJ website. The videos will help you prepare for the following week's Gospel along with practical ideas for building your "domestic church".   It is our hope that you will set aside a time  to view the video as a family and invite Christ in to your everyday living!

Videos and discussion questions will be emailed out on Sunday afternoons and posted on the SSFJ Facebook Page & the SSFJ Website.

March 12: End of 3rd Quarter

March 23: Open House 5 PM- 7 PM

April 2nd: Early Dismissal 11:15; No after school

April 5-9: Spring Break - No School
