Notes From the Office: Monday, May 15th, 2017Weekly Updates May 2017 Greetings,
The students have finished with their spring test – MAP and STAR Reading. The students worked hard and class scores are above national norms! Also, the eighth grade and kindergarten are starting to practice for graduation. These are all sure signs the year is quickly winding down. Please check out the notes from the office and any school emails/notes so you don’t miss a thing. I would like to thank everyone for helping make St. John School a great place!

Here's What's New!! 
The last day of school will be Thursday, May 25th, with early dismissal at 11:15. Kindergarten graduation will be Thursday, May 25th at Cardome. Eighth grade graduation will be Tuesday, May 23rd at 6 PM. The school awards ceremony will be held on Wednesday, May 24th at 1 PM.Students may wear their regular school uniform on Tuesday, May 16th. We will not be having Mass tomorrow, only Word and Communion. 
Field day is this Friday, May 19th at St. John's campus and we need about 10 parents to help run the game stations and popcorn machine from 9 - noon. Please email Colleeen Reinhart at [email protected] to volunteer. It's a wild morning, so come have fun with the preschool through 5th grades!
All students must pack a sack lunch and drink on Friday. The cafeteria is closed.
Spirit Night Fundraiser at BW3
We have one last SJS spirit night fundraiser on Monday, May 15 at BW3. Stop in from 11 am through 11 pm and present this ticket (click here) to your server and Buffalo Wild Wings® will donate 10%* of your total bill (not including tax, gratuity or promotional discounts) to the SJS Book Fund.
The Georgetown News Graphic is holding its annual "Readers' Choice Awards." Please join us in voting for SJS as your favorite private school - let’s make #1!
There is a ballot is in every issue through May 20 and it is included in the Scott Shopper paper too (which most residents receive free). Please help us nominate St. John Catholic School as the #1 private school in Scott County by completing and mailing a ballot - must be postmarked by May 22 (You can also vote for your favorite principal, teacher, youth sports instructor etc).
If you drink coke you can help our school raise money! All you need to do is enter the codes, found under the lid or on the box, at www.coke.com. The easiest way to locate our school is to search ST JOHN, 40324 in the search box. You can also turn your lids and box codes into the school office. If you would like to help enter codes, please email the office at [email protected].Registration Consent forms are due!
Please turn in your 2017-18 consent paperwork as soon as possible. Also, the $200 annual fee is due by June 1st. Please contact the office if you have any questions about your registration.

Computer Lab Hours
