Through Thursday of last week, the school families successfully collected $16,540 for the Matching Grant Program for the Parish Life Center. Thanks to everyone that supported this effort! There will be other opportunities to give and to get involved as we bring this next chapter at Cardome to fruition. Be on the lookout!
A reminder that tomorrow, Tuesday, May 7th, St. John School will be leading a May Crowning of Mary in the Grotto. This is a new event for St. John School and all are invited to join us. We will have Mass as normal in the Chapel at 8:30 am and then after Mass, we will proceed over to the Grotto (weather permitting) for the May Crowning. You can help us out by sending your students with some cut flowers on Tuesday morning. These can be store-bought or hand-picked flowers of any simple variety. Daisies, carnations, roses, and lilies, are all typical flowers. The second grade will be leading us in a decade of the Rosary and will crown Mary’s statue in the Grotto.
Also, don’t forget about the Annual Art Show on Thursday, May 9th from 3:00-6:30 PM on the first floor of the Main Cardome Building. Please come by to see all the great works of art. See the flyer below.
