I hope you have a chance to get out and enjoy the beautiful weather today. I would like to thank the parents and Saints in Action for making "Teacher Appreciation Week" very special. St. John School is lucky to have such a wonderful staff. They are very talented and bring many blessings to our school. Below is an article about our teachers that was placed in a recent church bulletin:
The pride we have in our teachers at St. John School is hard to put into words. They have more than 150 years—that’s right, 150 YEARS!—accumulated teaching experience among them, much of it right here at St. John School. Most of our teachers hold advanced degrees in education, as well, and although we would like to tell you they are making the millions they deserve for their sterling qualifications and for the incredibly important work they do, we can’t, and yet they continue to stay here year after year, because of their love for their students, their jobs, and the St. John community.
That kind of dedication is rare, and our students are, without a doubt, the ones who benefit the most from their commitment. Each day our teachers shape young minds, imparting knowledge to their students with a sense of patience, devotion, and real caring. They truly form a partnership with the parents of our students, working toward the common goal of preparing these children for the challenges they will encounter, both in and out of school, at St. John School and beyond.
Thank you for taking time to thank our teachers. St. John School is very fortunate to have great teachers and parents!!!
God bless and take care,
Dan Mardell
