Principal's Corner
Greetings,
St. John School parents are the best!!! Thank you for all the treats and cards during Staff Appreciation Week. I am sure the staff would agree your generosity and support is fantastic. Also, the eighth grade did a phenomenal job with the annual "Thanks for the Memories" luncheon. They were so creative putting together a Harry Potter theme which culminated with a game of Quidditch. Teachers left the luncheon full, happy, and I would guess a little sore from the game!
It is hard to believe that we only have two weeks left in the school year. Please make sure your children get plenty of rest so we can finish the year strong. Lastly, bingo is one of the biggest fundraisers for our school. This fundraiser generates money that helps keep our tuition cost down. This, in turn, enables more students to attend. We are revamping the process and are making some changes that will benefit our volunteers. Please prayerfully consider helping out if you are not already doing so. Thank you to all those who are working bingo.
God bless and take care,
Dan Mardell
Here's What's New: End Of Year Reminders Just a reminder that all student accounts must be paid in full by the end of the year. These fees include lunch, tuition, after school, athletics and any other fees you owe. Please take care of these as soon as possible so we can close out our books for this school year. Our policy requires that we hold report cards and transcripts until all accounts are paid in full. Thank you for your prompt attention in this matter.
Consent forms for 2016-17 Signed consent forms for the 2016-17 school year are due. Please fill them out and return them to the office as soon as possible.

***FIELD DAY*** Thank you to the volunteers who have already responded to the call for help on Field Day, this Friday the 13th, from 9am to noon. We still need 4 more volunteers to help with the stations in the parking lot, so please check your schedules and contact Colleen Reinhart at [email protected] if you can give a few hours of your time. It should be a FUN time for all!
Out of uniform day On Monday, May 16th, we will have an out of uniform day to support March of Dimes. For a minimum $2 donation students do not need to wear their uniform. The class that raises the most money will receive a treat day! This is a great cause so lets bring in as much money as we can to support it.
May 17th We will only have word and communion on May 17th so students will be allowed to wear their regular school uniform.
8th Grade Graduation Please join us on Wednesday, May 18th, at 6pm to celebrate our 8th grade graduation.
Bingo VIP Positions We are in desperate need of callers, front desk and back desk workers. These positions are mostly seated. Training can be done on site. Please email the school office if you are interested in learning one of these bingo positions.
