Notes From the Office: Monday, August 24th, 2020

Greetings,

Welcome to our first full week of school at St. John School! I would like to thank you for all your help and patience during the first few days. I am sure we will have to make a few more adjustments as the year goes on. Please continue to encourage proper hand washing, social distancing, and wearing face coverings with your children. Some parents have said their children are beginning to remind them about proper hand washing! Good job students! Please remember to let us know if your child has any of the COVID symptoms we noted. This will be a key in keeping school in session and everyone healthy. With your help we will continue to have a fantastic year!

A few final notes:

- Mass uniforms are to be worn by all students on Tuesdays.

-Due to the restrictions with the pandemic, only students will be allowed to attend the Tuesday school Mass.  Parents, parishioners and others can not attend.
- Gaiters are allowed to be worn at school. We ask that any face covering fit and be worn properly. For the most part, the students are doing a good job wearing face coverings properly.
- We will continue to make adjustments with our end of school day pick up to make it more efficient. For the safety of the children, it is very important that no one leave the parking lot until all students are in their cars.

- It is imperative that you notify the school office if your child or someone in your household tests positive for COVID-19.

PE tee shirts and school sweatshirts

If you need to purchase a school PE shirt or school sweatshirt you must complete the order form on the school website.  We only place an order 1 time per year for these items.  Click here for a direct link to the order form.  All orders must be submitted by August 28th.  Please send in your payment for your order to the school office.
