Welcome to our short Thanksgiving Week! As a reminder, there is no school Wednesday through Friday of this week. I do want to wish everyone a blessed Thanksgiving. As we all spend time with family this week, I do want to say thank you to all of you for your support and trust in our staff and our school. We are truly blessed to have such a community of faith and a great group of students that make our jobs rewarding.
Please check out the iGiveCatholic infographic below to help support our iGiveCatholic campaign this year. Early giving is open now and the big giving day is November 29, 2022. Your donations go directly to St. John School and this year’s donations will support our technology and infrastructure.
Last Friday the Science Fair was a huge success. The judges were very complimentary about the diverse group of ideas, the creative ways of exploring and experimenting, and the efforts that the students put into their projects. I too was impressed with their efforts and attitudes while over at the Fair. A huge thank you to Mrs. McKinley for working so hard to get the students ready and to bring back the Science Fair! The winners will be announced after Mass tomorrow morning and will be published in next week’s Notes from the Office.
Peace,
Mr. Mayer
