The Fall Festival is this Saturday, October 21st and should be a great time with the Trunk or Treat starting at 3 PM and the festival running after that. The raffle drawing is scheduled for 9 PM. Please be sure to get all your Raffle Tickets turned in this week! And if you can sell some more, then please do!!! Don’t miss out on a chance for $1,000, $4,000, or $10,000!!!
Today marks the end of the 1st Quarter. Report cards and Fall MAP test scores will go home on Wednesday. Please be sure to follow your teacher’s instructions regarding what to sign or turn back in.
Parent-Teacher conferences will follow the same format as years past. These conferences are called dual-optional which means a parent/guardian may request a conference about a student with a home room teacher or the teacher may request a conference with the parent/guardian about a student. If neither the teacher nor parent/guardian requests a conference, then no meeting is required. To facilitate these meetings and to keep them limited to 10-15 minutes, we will have an approximate two week window to allow maximum flexibility for families and staff. The window runs from October 18th to November 1st. Each home room teacher will reach out to their class families with their available meeting schedule, so please work directly with your teacher to get scheduled.
Good luck to Lila and Daniel at the Diocesan Spelling Bee this Wednesday at Lexington Catholic!
Congrats to our cross country team which finished a great season this weekend at the State Meet. Several of the runners posted season (and all-time) personal bests. Additionally, Mark Reinhart finished in 4th place in the middle school boys division and Samuel Mayer finished in 42nd place in the 6th grade and under boys division. These two boys were awarded medals for their top 50 finishes. All of the races that our kids competed in had more than 250 runners in each race; some had more than 350 runners in there!
Peace,
Mr. Mayer
