Welcome back! I hope that you all had a wonderful Fall Break. The weather today is certainly fall-like!
We are in the final weeks of preparing for the Fall Festival. You should be seeing signs around town, so please be talking up attendance with your neighbors and friends. Saturday, October 21st should be a great time with the Trunk or Treat starting at 3 PM and the festival running after that. Please be sure to get all your Raffle Tickets turned in soon! And if you can sell some more, then please do!!! This fall weather has us really thinking about Fall Festivals!
Congrats to our School-wide Spelling Bee winners and runners up.
Elementary: Lila Costello, winner
Genevieve Davis and Vivian Ahlgrim, runners up
Middle School: Daniel Murphy, winner
Samuel Mayer, runner up
This is the last week for parochial basketball signups for grades 5-8. If your student is interested in playing, please send an email to the office this week. Those that have already signed up do not need to re-send anything.
Lastly, you all should know that we have a budding master chef among us. Our own Vivian Ahlgrim (4th grade) participated in the Youth Division of the 56th Annual World Championship Chili Cook-off in Myrtle Beach, SC and she placed 2nd in the 6-11 age category, cooking a traditional red chili. It was Vivian’s first independent, competitive cook-off. The fruit doesn’t fall too far from the tree as her mom and dad have been competitive chili cooks with the International Chili Society since 2007. Congrats Vivian!
Peace,
Mr. Mayer

2023 Focus Forward Conference
Parent of Students with ADHD and Learning Differences
We invite you to join us at the 2023 Focus Forward Conference! Last year, there was a great turnout, and everyone in attendance walked away with so much added value. This year, it is going to be even better!
If you have a child ages 5-18 with ADHD or a Learning Difference, you want to be one of the parents joining us on Saturday, October 21!
WHAT: An in-person workshop to help parents with struggling students better understand their students’ struggles and develop a personalized plan.
WHEN & WHERE: Saturday, October 21, 9 am - 2:45 pm at Good Shepherd in Frankfort, KY
WHY: You are exhausted, overwhelmed, and unsure. Your child is struggling, your house is full of emotions, and you’re at a loss. It’s time to stop trying approaches because someone else said it worked for them and make a personalized plan that works for your child. The struggles your child IS facing will be with them for their lifetime. Set them up for success now so they don’t have to live a lifelong battle.
HOW: Purchase the HYPERFOCUSED package to claim your ticket for the in-person event. During your time with us in person, you will work with our coaches to create a personalized plan for your child that includes four topics:
(1) building your toolbox
(2) Effective Communication
(3) the Importance of Mindset
(4)Bridging the Gap from where you are to where you want to be
Did you forget to order your yearbook last year? That's no problem. We have about 15 extras that are for sale. They will be on a first come first serve basis. Please email the office at [email protected] if you would like to purchase one.
