3rd grade "Creating Saints" program. We shared our beautiful reading skills with pre-k!
Principal's Corner
Greetings,
It is hard to believe we have reached the mid-term mark of the first quarter. The mid-term reports will be sent home on Wednesday. This will be our first attempt to use Ascend for this process. Please let us know if you have any questions about these reports. As usual, there are many things going on at the school. The soccer teams were all in action this weekend. Our second and third grade boys remained undefeated with a victory. Please see the article below for details. Also, two of our girls' teams played to a tie with their opponents. Go Saints! Lastly, several of our students performed for the Cardome Alumni Reunion with Mrs. Upton. The ladies enjoyed the music and even joined in with the singing! God bless and take care,
Dan Mardell

New Student Management System St. John School will be using a new program called Ascend SMS this year. This program will replace the old Engrade grading system and PDS Data System. Both Engrade and PDS programs are being phased out. Several schools in the diocese are or will be using Ascend. We are still working on this new system and as soon as we have worked out all the kinks, we will be sharing the system with you. You will be able to log on and check out your child's grades, attendance, homework, and more. With Ascend you will also receive daily emails with a summary of the above items. Please be patient with us as we learn this new system. We will send a note home to parents when we are ready to go live. If you have questions about your child's grades before then, please contact the students teacher.
