Principal's CornerGreetings,
I hope you used the three day, rainy Labor Day weekend to relax and get some rest. The students at St. John School came back with a great attitude and are working very hard. We start the first round of MAP testing next week. This is one way to see how their performance compare to other students. Also, tomorrow you should receive a letter about changes in our recycling program. Please take time to look over all the changes to the program.

Please turn in your picture order by Friday, September 5th. If you are not ordering pictures, you will need to return the proof. Picture retake day is scheduled for October 8th.

All Ages Diocesan Skate Party
Sts Peter & Paul School is hosting a "Welcome Back to School All Ages Diocesan Skate Party" on Monday, September 15 from 5:30-7:30 PM. Admission is $4 and skate rental is $1. Laser Tag and mini golf are extra. Enjoy a great evening with students of all ages from all the local Catholic schools!Part Time Job Opening

1. If you don't already have a Kroger Plus card, simply sign up at the Customer Service desk at Kroger.
2. Log in to : KrogerCommunityRewards.com
3. Create an account and follow steps to enroll in the rewards program using our school's NPO number : 10168
***Your purchases will not count for St. John School until you link your Kroger Plus card***
Virtus Training
Per diocesan policy, anyone who volunteers that will have direct contact with children (at school, in the parish or at events such as our Festival) is required to go through Virtus Training. Register for a class online at www.cdlex.org under the Virtus tab.
Attention Soccer Parents!!Soccer parents are needed to volunteer at the Double S Stampede on Sept 6. This fundraiser supports the athletic department. Used Uniforms
Don't forget to stop by the office to purchase some gently used uniforms. You may also drop off all your old uniforms that don't fit anymore.BingoBingo Teams are being formed. Please turn in the paper from your orientation packet indicating which nights work best for your family. Every Family is Expected to participate in this major fund raiser.
