Weekly Updates
September 2019
Greetings,
Last Friday, we invited grandparents to have lunch with their grandchildren. We had a very good turn out. It was wonderful to see the smiles on the children's' faces. They were so happy and proud to have their grandparent at school.
Please remember, this Friday and Saturday is the Fall Fest at Cardome. This will be a fantastic event for our parish, community, and school. Please come out and enjoy the fun. Thank you to everyone who helped us with the auction basket items.
Please keep the 70,000 homeless in the Bahamas and those on the east coast who were affected by Hurricane Dorian.
God bless and take care,
Dan Mardell

Changes for the 2019-2010 Yearbook After producing the St. John School yearbook for the last eight years, the current yearbook volunteers have both taken on new responsibilities at the school. As a result, it is necessary for them to step away from the yearbook. If there are any parents or relatives of students who are interested in taking this project on, we would love to hear from you! Responsibilities include taking photographs at school events (or finding others that can provide photos), creating yearbook themes and pages with a very user-friendly online program, submitting documents by deadline dates, and marketing the yearbook. These tasks could be completed by an individual or a committee. We are happy to provide training to anyone who is interested! You can be responsible for carrying on the St. John yearbook tradition! Please contact the office for details.
St. John School Enrollment Committee Do you love St. John School and want to share that enthusiasm with others? Then the Enrollment Committee needs you! If this sounds like something you'd like to do, please consider joining us! Email Colette Mayer at [email protected] for more information!

If you would like to check on your students lunch balance you can do so on myschoolbucks.com. You do not have to upload money on myschoolbucks if you do not want to. They do charge a fee.
