July 2013
We are pleased to announce that our new 3rd grade teacher for next year is Mrs. Erica Bilotta. Mrs. Bilotta and her family are parishioners here at Ss. Francis and John. Mrs. Bilotta has nine years of teaching experience in developing and implementing hands-on, interdisciplinary curriculum to meet every student's needs across the range using differentiated teaching strategies. Welcome Mrs. Bilotta!
We are also pleased to announce that the Technology teaching position will be filled by none other than Mrs. Suzanne Drummond! We offer an enthusiastic welcome to Mrs. Drummond! It was a very happy day to find that yet another parent we know and love is willing to help lead our students' journey in education!
It has been said that, "Change always comes bearing gifts." This is very true in the case of our hard-working and dedicated Pre-School and Pre-Kindergarten teachers, Mrs. Perry and Mrs. Wayman. These two innovative educators will be changing things up a bit beginning this August. Mrs. Wayman will take on the opportunities of the 3 year old curriculum, and Mrs. Perry will tackle the 4 year old curriculum of skills. Yes, change offers a breath of excitement as new lessons and plans will help us reach new heights. We see now that this change will not require relocation for either teacher and the thought of not having to pack up and move is probably very comforting. Thank you Mrs. Perry and Mrs. Wayman for your gift of advancing to new beginnings!
In regards to our Middle School educators, there will also be changes experienced for the new school year. There has been a tremendous amount of discussion over several months to create a transition that will positively impact students! Please note the following assignments:
